Self-penned album chronicles Chase’s return to faith as its title track arrives at Christian radio

NASHVILLE, Sept. 23, 2026 /Standard Newswire/ — Nashville-based singer/songwriter Jeffrey Alan Chase is proving that it is never too late to pursue your God-given purpose. At 77, Chase has officially released his debut, self-penned 12-song album, I’m Coming Back, a musical testimony of his journey back to God.
A born creative with more than 40 years of songwriting to his credit, Chase is devoting himself to music full time in this new season of his career. His life experiences have given him a depth of wisdom and maturity that can be heard throughout the project.
The title track, “I’m Coming Back,” is a deeply personal chronicle of redemption, reflecting on the years Chase spent living life on his own terms before finding his way back to his spiritual roots.
“For a while I thought I was enjoying life, doing things my own way and calling the shots,” Chase shares. “But no matter what I was doing, there was always something missing.”
Chase found that missing piece in his faith, and his return to God anchors the message of the entire project.
Musically, I’m Coming Back is as rich and diverse as Chase’s own life experience. The album blends his early musical influences of country, country rock, ’60s pop and blues with distinct Louisiana swamp undertones. Co-produced by Chase and Paul Scholten at Nashville’s renowned County Q Studio, the project showcases Chase’s 40-plus years of songwriting craft. Although he spent decades pursuing a successful business career, music remained his steady pulse.
