ST. REGIS FALLS, N.Y., June 17, 2026 /Standard Newswire/ — Benjamin Michael McGreevy, creator of Verse by Verse: A Daily Devotional Through the Whole Bible, has announced a new milestone for the growing online Bible devotional project. Every verse from Genesis 1 through Genesis 26 has now been published free on the official website,

Verse by Verse: A Daily Devotional Through the Whole Bible is being built as an online-first Bible study and devotional resource. Rather than limiting the project to a traditional book release schedule, McGreevy is first publishing the reflections on the website so readers can access them freely, one verse at a time. The material is then consolidated, edited, and formatted into book volumes.

McGreevy has also continued posting on the website every single day without missing a day for 134 consecutive days. His intention is to continue that daily publishing rhythm until the entire Bible has been completed in the same verse-by-verse format.

Volume 1 of the series, covering Genesis 1–11, is already available. Volume 2, covering Genesis 12–20, is expected to be released soon. Meanwhile, the website continues to move ahead of the printed volumes, giving readers free access to newly published devotional reflections before they are later collected into book form.

Each post includes the King James Version text of a Bible verse followed by a devotional reflection designed to help readers slow down, understand Scripture more clearly, and apply the passage to daily life. The goal of the project is to encourage more people to read the Bible by making verse-by-verse devotional content available online for free.

With Genesis 26 now complete, the website includes hundreds of individual reflections covering creation, the fall, Noah, Abraham, Sarah, Isaac, Hagar, Ishmael, Lot, Sodom and Gomorrah, the binding of Isaac, Rebekah, and God’s covenant faithfulness throughout the early chapters of Genesis.

The website is organized so readers can find specific verses directly. Each reflection follows a simple URL format: versebyversebook.com/post/genesis-(chapter)-(verse). For example, Genesis 26:35 can be found at www.versebyversebook.com/post/genesis-26-35.

McGreevy plans to continue publishing through Genesis and eventually through the entire Bible, building a free online devotional library that can also be consolidated into print and digital book volumes.
