NASHVILLE, May 1, 2026 /Standard Newswire/ — Next week: May 5, 2026, at 10 PM/ET marks the season premiere of “Today’s Nashville” (Season 10) on Cornerstone Television Network. Episode 1 features host Terry Squires and celebrity guest Jake Hoot — an American country singer who won “The Voice” in Season 17, as part of the Kelly Clarkson Team. More recently, he also won its “Battle of the Champions” in April 2026.
Jake’s music embodies a life steeped in faith, family and truth. Viewers can expect to hear his inspiring story, along with a song selection, on the May 5th episode of “Today’s Nashville,” airing at 10 PM/ET (www.ctvn.org/watch-live).
Beyond Episode 1, host Terry Squires helps special guests dig deep into stories of success, failure, and faith. Fans will hear from a wide range of Country music stars, Gospel singers and more — sharing how tragedies of life brought new levels of faith and courage.
Guests throughout the season include friends such as:
Joyce Martin Sanders: Joyce and her siblings, known as The Martins, were discovered by Bill Gaither, Michael English and Mark Lowry. They were told by a record company they would never make it in the business. God had other plans — and 8 Dove awards later, their music has touched millions. Discover how Joyce took a wrong path for a season that almost brought her disaster.
Jason Crabb: Jason is a Grammy-awarded artist and has been singing for audiences since his teens. Catch up with his story and how his faith drives his passion for music. Join host Terry Squires for a closer look at his unshakable faith.
Steele Croswhite: Steele went from traveling the country with his secular rock band (opening for Maroon 5, Sheryl Crow and Foo Fighters) to pastoring a church in Salt Lake City. The death of his Dad changed the direction of his life. Take a closer look at how his story of faith brought him to lead a congregation.
Cindy Roberts: Cindy is a Nashville-based singer and vocal instructor who has performed with Michael Bublé, Josh Groban and Sarah Brightman. She has coached finalists from “American Idol,” along with worship leaders and singers of all genres. She teaches at Lipscomb University, while also walking in faith, helping her husband fight cancer.
Wood Newton: Wood is a songwriter and musician who has written hits for Kenny Rogers, Conway Twitty, The Oak Ridge Boys, Alabama and many others. His music has been downloaded by millions, and he loves to talk about Jesus.
