In 1976, when Michael Cardy responded to the call of God in his heart, he could not have imagined the path that lay ahead—traveling to over seventy countries on more than two hundred trips. Along the way, he earned an Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters for his work in leadership & entrepreneurship development and was ordained as a pastor before his global work with Samaritan’s Purse.
Michael has been married for 48 years to his partner in ministry and wife, Nancy. They have two adult children and one granddaughter. Most importantly, Michael has been a follower of Jesus for 50 years and counting.
