JACKSON, Miss., Aug. 6, 2026 /Standard Newswire/ — Dr. LaTonya Jones and Fishers of Men World Ministries will host The Altar Call Tent Revival, a free evening of Gospel preaching, worship, prayer, healing and deliverance, on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 7 to 11 p.m. at the Mississippi State Fairgrounds, 1207 Mississippi Street, Jackson, Mississippi.
The event is part of Dr. Jones’s nationwide vision to bring revival beyond church walls and into public venues where people from every denomination and background, including those who have never attended church or have become disconnected from it, can encounter Jesus Christ. The Mississippi gathering represents one of the ministry’s largest evangelistic outreaches and continues a national revival initiative.
“Our nation is searching for hope, peace and truth,” said Dr. Jones, founder of Fishers of Men World Ministries. “This revival is a call back to God. We believe lives will be transformed as people experience repentance, receive salvation, seek healing and find freedom through the power of Jesus Christ.”
The evening will include a Gospel message centered on repentance and salvation, worship, biblical preaching and prophetic ministry, prayer for healing and deliverance, personal prayer and an invitation to begin or renew a relationship with Jesus Christ. Dr. Jones will serve as host and featured speaker.
Admission is free. Thousands of people throughout Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee and Louisiana are being invited. Individuals who respond to the Gospel will be encouraged to connect with local churches, pursue baptism, receive continued prayer and participate in discipleship. The ministry also plans to livestream the event on Facebook and YouTube.
