NEW YORK, June 8, 2026 /Standard Newswire/ — Author Rusty I. Bertrand announces the release of Ricky, Ray & Rusty Go Spelunking, a Christian children’s adventure novel that blends outdoor exploration, biblical lessons, and creation science. As Book Six in the Rocky Ridge Adventure Series, this story guides young readers through some of the most fascinating cave systems in the American Southwest while reinforcing faith, character, and spiritual growth.
In this adventure, Ricky, Ray, and Rusty journey through volcanic tubes, vast caverns, narrow passageways, and underground chambers at Bandera Volcano, Carlsbad Caverns, Sonora Caverns, and Natural Bridge Caverns. Along the way, they face physical challenges, unexpected obstacles, and awe‑inspiring moments that encourage readers to explore the natural world and their relationship with God. The story weaves real cave science, fun facts, and Scripture into an engaging tale for ages 7–12.
Inspired by a desire to help children connect with God’s creation through hands‑on adventure, the authors combine real‑world locations with biblical principles to encourage curiosity, courage, and trust. The underground setting becomes a powerful backdrop for lessons about perseverance, spiritual guidance, and the truth that light can be found even in the darkest places.
The book is ideal for Christian families, homeschool communities, church groups, and educators seeking values‑driven literature. Bonus features—including discussion questions, illustration prompts, word searches, and educational activities—extend learning beyond the story and support meaningful family conversations.
