PORTLAND, Ore., Aug. 25, 2026 /Standard Newswire/ — Oregon Catholic Press (OCP) is pleased to announce that Corresponsables de Dios: Stewards of God (CDD), a stewardship ministry with an impressive track record of serving Hispanic/Latino Catholic communities, is becoming part of OCP’s ministry.

Stewardship programming is an important need for Spanish-speaking communities in the United States Catholic Church, and dioceses that have implemented CDD programs report increased engagement, attendance, and support for parish life and minstry. Building on OCP’s longstanding commitment to formation programming, this addition is an important step toward advancing OCP’s religious, charitable, and educational mission by helping us serve the full life of Catholic parishes.

“OCP’s mission is to serve and partner with the whole parish in all its pastoral needs. Historically, we have focused on music and liturgy, but the needs of today’s multicultural Catholic communities are growing and evolving,” says OCP Publisher Wade Wisler. “We couldn’t be more excited and proud to launch Corresponsables de Dios. These programs address those changing needs, especially the need for formation on stewardship, and strengthens a parish’s overall health and resources.”

CDD Founder and President Koren Ruiz is already part of the OCP family, leading our Formational Programs team and will now lead this program as a division of OCP.

“I would like to express my deep gratitude to OCP,” Ruiz says. “I thank God for his providence and for allowing us to begin this new chapter together in service to the Church. Please know of my sincere commitment to serving OCP faithfully and to helping CDD grow within our shared mission.”

OCP looks forward to the ways that the CDD programs will help us better accompany and support Hispanic/Latino communities, which are a vital and growing part of the Church. CDD brings a proven, culturally grounded approach that will help us deepen those relationships in meaningful and authentic ways.
