SAN FRANCISCO, June 23, 2026 /Standard Newswire/ — Life Legal Defense Foundation announced today that there has been a major development in the case against pro-life advocate Anastasia Rogers. After months of prosecution and a recent mistrial in which the overwhelming majority of jurors voted not guilty, Anastasia will be allowed to return to Planned Parenthood and continue her peaceful pro-life outreach as part of the Survivors of the Abortion Holocaust team.

The court has agreed to dismiss the case in three months so long as Anastasia remains law abiding and follows the court’s terms during that period.

“This is a tremendous answer to prayer and a very encouraging step forward,” said Alexandra Snyder, CEO of Life Legal Defense Foundation. “Anastasia should never have been dragged through a criminal trial for peaceful pro-life advocacy. We are grateful that she can return to the sidewalk and continue offering help, hope, and truth to women and their children alongside the Survivors of the Abortion Holocaust team.”

Anastasia was criminally charged in San Francisco over a short Instagram reel that prosecutors attempted to characterize as intimidation. After a two-week trial, the case ended in a mistrial, with the overwhelming majority of jurors voting not guilty.

Despite the result, the District Attorney’s office initially refused to drop the case outright, and the matter was set for retrial. Life Legal supporters across the country responded with prayers, calls, and emails urging the District Attorney to end the prosecution.

“This outcome shows that public pressure matters,” Snyder said. “When peaceful pro-life advocates are targeted by the government, Life Legal will continue to stand in the gap. We are thankful for every person who spoke up for Anastasia and helped make this result possible.”

Life Legal emphasized that the case is not officially over until it is dismissed, but the organization is grateful for this significant development and asks supporters to continue praying for Anastasia’s protection and courage during the next three months.
