LONG GROVE, Ill., Aug. 19, 2026 /Standard Newswire/ — Dayspring Bible College is celebrating another significant milestone in the development of its new campus in Long Grove, Illinois. Through the generosity of supporters and the recent sale of its existing campus in Mundelein, the College has now raised $6.7 million toward its $8 million Phase One renovation goal.

Only $1.3 million remains to fully fund Phase One.

The progress represents another remarkable chapter in the story of what Dayspring Bible College has called its “Miracle Building.” The College’s new home is a 120,000-square-foot facility situated on 32 scenic acres in Long Grove, generously donated to Dayspring Bible College by Hobby Lobby.

Phase One of the renovation will prepare the campus to welcome students and includes residence dormitories, lecture halls, a library, administrative offices, and a cafeteria. The completed campus will provide a permanent home for Dayspring’s mission of training men and women to serve Christ and proclaim the Gospel around the world.

“We are humbled by what God has already provided,” said Pastor Jim Scudder, President of Dayspring Bible College. “To see $6.7 million raised toward our $8 million Phase One goal is an incredible testimony to God’s faithfulness and to the generosity of those who believe in the mission of Dayspring. We are now within $1.3 million of completing this important first phase, and we are asking God’s people to join us in helping cross the finish line.”

Inaugural Gala Set for October 22

Dayspring Bible College will host its Inaugural Gala on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at the Royal Melbourne Country Club in Long Grove, Illinois.

The Gala will be a special evening celebrating God’s provision, sharing the vision for the new campus, and helping Dayspring reach its remaining $1.3 million Phase One fundraising goal.

An exciting keynote speaker will be announced soon. Guests are encouraged to watch www.dbc.edu for the official announcement and additional Gala updates.

“We have something very special planned for our Inaugural Gala,” said Scudder. “While we aren’t ready to announce our keynote speaker just yet, I believe our guests will be excited when the announcement is made. We want this evening to be a celebration of what God has done and an opportunity for everyone who attends to become part of what He is doing through Dayspring Bible College.”

Help Us Reach the Final $1.3 Million

Dayspring is encouraging individuals, churches, Christian businesses, foundations, and families to attend the October 22 Gala and consider making a significant investment toward the completion of Phase One.

Table sponsorships are especially encouraged. Sponsoring a table provides an opportunity to bring friends, family members, business associates, church leaders, and ministry partners together for an evening focused on biblical education and the future of Christian leadership.

“We believe this is much more than a building project,” Scudder added. “It is an investment in the Kingdom of God. Every residence room, classroom, lecture hall, and library space will ultimately be used to train men and women who can impact lives for Christ. We are asking our friends and supporters to help us raise the final $1.3 million and complete Phase One.”

Dayspring Bible College is also offering a limited number of Founders’ Naming Opportunities throughout the new campus. Donors may honor family members, loved ones, churches, ministries, or businesses while making a lasting investment in the future of biblical education.

The College also welcomes individuals and organizations interested in touring the 32-acre Long Grove campus and seeing firsthand the remarkable facility that God has provided.
