LONG GROVE, Ill., June 24, 2026 /Standard Newswire/ — Dayspring Bible College is excited to announce that it now officially owns its new Long Grove campus, a remarkable 32-acre property featuring a 120,000-square-foot facility generously donated by Hobby Lobby. Affectionately known as the “Miracle Building,” this extraordinary gift represents a transformational step forward in the college’s mission to educate and empower the next generation of faith leaders.
To celebrate this milestone, Dayspring Bible College recently hosted a Gift of Property Celebration attended by nearly 700 guests from across the region. Attendees enjoyed a complimentary BBQ lunch, guided building tours, a flag-raising ceremony, and a special children’s rock-painting activity. The painted rocks will become a permanent part of the campus entry landscaping, serving as a lasting reminder of the community’s support and excitement for the future.
The highlight of the celebration came with the announcement of an anonymous $100,000 matching gift challenge. Every donation, regardless of amount, will be matched dollar-for-dollar until the challenge has been fulfilled, effectively doubling the impact of every contribution.
“This Miracle Building is more than a facility—it is a testimony to God’s provision and a foundation for training future generations to serve Christ,” said college President, Jim Scudder Jr. “We invite friends, alumni, churches, and supporters to become part of this historic opportunity.”
Dayspring Bible College is currently renovating the campus and expanding its educational programs to prepare students for lives of ministry, leadership, and service.
Supporters who wish to participate in the matching gift challenge may make a tax-deductible donation by visiting www.dbc.edu.
