NASHVILLE, Oct. 1, 2026 /Standard Newswire/ — Just as new polling shows Gen Z is more religious than prior generations, THINQ Media marks its 20th year at the annual THINQ Summit, which runs Thursday through Saturday. More than 1,600 leaders will hear premier voices speak to the questions shaping culture. Keynotes take place at The Fisher Center for the Performing Arts in Nashville, with experiences held across the city.
THINQ began as a space for conversations about culture and current issues that weren’t being addressed in the church. At its first gathering, founder Gabe Lyons and Barna Group’s David Kinnaman released unChristian, documenting how a younger generation saw Christians as judgmental, hypocritical, and too political. This year, Kinnaman returns with “Is Jesus En Vogue?” drawing on new research into how the Christian faith is gaining a fresh hearing.
“Today, we’re seeing Jesus become plausible again to people,” Lyons said. “That was always our hope for THINQ, and it’s why we work to make sure our faith turns into action and doesn’t stop at discussion.”
The Summit, hosted by Gabe and Rebekah Lyons, features 30+ main stage talks in THINQ’s 9- or 18-minute format. Past speakers include Os Guinness, Jackie Hill Perry, and Andy Crouch, as well as Lecrae, Malcolm Gladwell, Jonathan Haidt and the late Tim Keller and Chuck Colson. Continuing its tradition of tackling hard issues with biblical faithfulness, this year’s sessions include:
• “Leading Through the Collapse,” Gabe Lyons, THINQ Media
• “The Hidden Life of a Creator,” Dallas Jenkins, The Chosen
• “Resisting Intrusive Thoughts,” Jennie Allen, GATHER
• “Countering Assisted Suicide (MAID),” Kelsi Sheren, Canadian Combat Veteran
• “When Healing Is Delayed,” Jonathan Pokluda, Harris Creek Baptist Church
• “Forgiveness in an Outrage Culture,” Dr. Amy Orr-Ewing, Author & Theologian
• “The Gift of Disability,” Shelbi Shutt, Church of the City New York
• “The Risk of Psychedelics,” Christa Black Singh, Author & Singer/Songwriter
• “The Rise of Sports Gambling Addiction,” Anthony B. Bradley, Acton Institute
“It’s much harder today to bring together people with different views, because we see one another in such polarizing terms,” Lyons said. “But it’s essential we make the effort, because the church is looking for ways to navigate current culture more than ever.”
Attendees will hear multiple perspectives from the same stage, such as the case for and against artificial intelligence in faith formation in How AI Helps Discipleship (James Poulter) and How AI Harms Discipleship (Dave Clayton). A Debate Night modeled after THINQ Culture Nights, How Should Christians View Israel?, will explore the relationship between biblical Israel, the Jewish people, and the modern State of Israel.
That approach extends beyond the Summit. This summer, THINQ launched THINQ Dinners, inviting people to celebrate America’s 250th by hosting Jeffersonian-style gatherings around a meal, a THINQ Talk, and guided discussion on our nation, culture, and shared future.
Attendees also choose from 50+ dynamic, hands-on breakout sessions designed to help them grow in mind, body, and spirit. Talks will be released after the event. See all speakers and topics at thinqmedia.com.
