PROSPER, Texas, July 14, 2026 /Standard Newswire/ — The National Organization for Church Security and Safety Management returns to North Texas with its milestone 20th Annual National Church Security Conference on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at Rock Creek Church in Prosper, Texas.
This powerful one-day event equips pastors, church leaders, safety teams, and ministry professionals with practical, faith-based tools to protect their congregations amid today’s evolving threats. From preventing child sexual abuse to surviving high-stress incidents, attendees leave better prepared to guard what matters most.
Featured experts include:
Gregory Love of MinistrySafe, on preventing child sexual abuse — myths versus real data.
Dr. Sean Lawler of 360 Resilience Group, revealing the neurobiology of survival under stress.
Chuck Chadwick of NOCSSM, sharing 20 years of hard-won lessons and national standards for church security teams.
John Riley of Gentle Response, teaching conflict de-escalation with a true ministry mindset.
One of the biggest challenges in building an effective church security team is developing comprehensive planning and policy documents.
This year, we’re making it much easier for you. Every conference attendee will receive a special USB drive packed with NOCSSM’s Master Security Plans, Policies, and supporting documents. These ready-to-adapt files are designed to strengthen your existing emergency plans – or build them from the ground up.
This valuable collection represents over 20 years of real-world consulting experience with churches across the nation. It includes proven templates, sample security assessments, and best-practice guidance covering all three strands of church security.
Don’t miss this opportunity to take your church’s safety and preparedness to the next level.
The $99 registration fee includes lunch. Early registration is strongly encouraged — the fee jumps to $150 at the door. Register by August 1st at www.gatekeeperstx.com/nocssm-conference.
Don’t wait for tragedy to strike. Build a safer church today.
