MEDIA ADVISORY, Jan. 11 /Standard Newswire/ -- Bishop E.W. Jackson Sr. is sending out millions of emails asking supporters to demand Harry Reid's resignation. Bishop Jackson is an author, minister, national radio commentator and graduate of Harvard Law School who has written and commented frequently on matters of race. He also criticized Harry Reid's remark equating opponents of Obamacare with those who opposed ending slavery.

Harry Reid, liberal Democrat and Majority Leader of the U.S. Senate has admitted to a 2008 comment calling Obama "a light-skinned" African American "with no Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one." Jackson said this was an amen to Joe Biden saying that Obama was a black candidate who was "articulate and bright and clean." Says Jackson, "What Reid and Biden are saying is that black people are generally dark skinned, speak Ebonics or jive and are neither bright nor clean. That is clearly racial stereotyping."

The prominent black minister has accused Harry Reid and his liberal colleagues of gross hypocrisy. "These are the people," says the Bishop, "who are always crying racism. They drove Trent Lott from office for making an arguably far more benign comment. Harry Reid has engaged in a direct racial slur, and liberals rush to defend him. It is despicable."

Jackson also criticizes Al Sharpton and President Obama for making excuses for Harry Reid. "Al Sharpton – as well as Jesse Jackson, Julian Bond and their ilk," says Bishop Jackson, "have ceased being civil rights leaders and become puppet apologists for liberalism and racist paternalism. George Bush did not make excuses for Trent Lott." The Bishop and his supporters are demanding Reid's resignation as Senate Majority Leader.

Jackson and his organization are committed to exposing the racial hypocrisy of liberals. He has also called for the U.S. senate to censure Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse who called opponents of Obamacare part of a white "Aryan support group." STAND is asking millions of Americans of all racial backgrounds to resist liberal Democrats' strategy to "divide, conquer and ram unconstitutional healthcare legislation down our throats." In addition to calling, writing and faxing, Jackson urges his supporters to vote out "the left wing radicals" in 2010 and their leader, Barack Obama, in 2012.
