FRENCHTOWN, N.J., Aug. 12 /Standard Newswire/ -- Revelation Generation (www.revgen.org), the ever popular summer music festival held each year in Hunterdon County, has announced the addition of nationally acclaimed artist TobyMac and the E.R.A.C.E All Star Jam to join Skillet, The Devil Wears Prada, and Anberlin as the headlining acts for 2010. Following the performance of hip hop star TobyMac, an impressive roster of guest artists including Phil Keaggy, Robert Randolph, Tommy Sims, Marc Broussard, Bernard Harris, Natalie Grant, Mary Mary, TobyMac, and others will perform the E.R.A.C.E All Star Jam, an improvisational performance of epic proportions.
E.R.A.C.E is a non-profit organization that promotes reconciliation and unity among all races. And what better place for E.R.A.C.E than Revelation Generation, a first-class, two-day festival that offers unprecedented diversity in music for fans in greater New York City and greater Philadelphia. The addition of these popular headlining acts adds depth to an already impressive lineup. Now in its sixth year, this eclectic, energetic festival will be held over Labor Day Weekend 2010 on Saturday, September 4 and Sunday, September 5.
Last year, Revelation Generation welcomed more than 30,000 fans in a one and a half day format. To accommodate the ever-rising interest in the festival -- and in anticipation of even greater attendance in 2010 -- Revelation Generation has shifted to a Saturday/Sunday format that includes two full days of music, games, demonstrations, speakers, and extreme sports. The "event of the summer" also features children's activities, great food, and a huge merchandise tent. Throughout the festival, artists will stop by Tent 7 to share their stories, providing fans with unprecedented access to band members. Revelation Generation -- held on a scenic, 140-acre property owned by founders Robert and Kim Grom -- is a memorable concert experience that offers something for everyone, including groups, kids, families, and singles.
