MEDIA ADVISORY, July 25, 2011 /Standard Newswire/ -- A pro-Shar'iah coalition group, led by the Center for American Progress, will be holding a public consortium titled: "What Shar'iah Is–and Isn't: Examining the Anti- Shar'iah Movement in America", in Washington DC on Tuesday, July 26. To take western civilization on a long march back to serfdom, the radical Islamists appear to have learned the only hope they have of conquering the U.S. is to influence media and discredit the American anti-Shar'iah movement.
Mano Bakh, Director of ConcernedAmericanCitizens.org (CAC), is one of the leaders in the anti- Shar'iah movement. He is encouraged by this desperate effort that the Center for American Progress is making. "Obviously, organizations like ours (Concerned American Citizens) are having a great impact while educating American citizens. The pro-Shar'iah people know the majority of Americans have a skeptical view toward Islam, and an overwhelming majority is now aware of how Shar'iah law and the U.S. Constitution are diametrically opposed."
Bills have been introduced in more than two dozen states that would ban the practice of Shar'iah law. Mr. Bakh is convinced the purpose of the pro-Shar'iah consortium is to dupe the public into viewing the anti-Shar'iah activists as backward, reactionary, hateful, bigoted, and racist and to use the media to convince Americans that Shariah law is harmless.
"These pro- Shar'iah experts are the same people who infiltrated the California Department of Education and forced Orange County schools to rewrite history books to paint a favorable face on Islam's 1,400 years of bigotry, hatred, and terror," says Bakh. "These are the same people who have helped push 140 court cases in America, attempting to supersede the Constitution with Shariah law—unfortunately, the've succeeded in many cases."
The author of From Terror to Freedom: A Warning about America's Affair with Islam (Publisher's Design Group, 2011), Bakh says his heroic escape from Iran is less remarkable than his escape from radical Islam. Based on his own arduous journey, he reflects on the importance of understanding the aspirations behind Islam and why America must be informed. He founded and is director of Concerned American Citizens, an activist organization devoted to separating Shariah from Islam. He and CAC led the opposition to the building of the mosque in Temecula, California.
"The Silent Conqueror" is gaining momentum in the West and the Pandora's Box we've opened may be difficult to close. Mr. Bakh and ConcernedAmericanCitizens.org, will continue to be on the front lines in the battle to counter those who are trying to overthrow our Constitutional liberties.
