ORLANDO, Fla., Dec. 17, 2024 /Christian Newswire/ -- Ligonier Ministries, the teaching fellowship founded by Dr. R.C. Sproul, has announced the release of the Reformation Study Bible in French. The product of years of meticulous labor fueled by generous donor support, thissignificant translation project has been co-published in partnership with Publications Chrétiennes of Quebec. This new study Bible, La Bible d'étude de la foi réformée, features La Nouvelle Version Segond translation of Scripture and is now available for purchase on the study Bible's website and Ligonier's website.

As Ligonier aims to equip the global church and advance the Great Commission, this French translation opens new opportunities to provide faithful Bible commentary to many Christians with poor access to resources faithful to the historic Christian faith. The study Bible contains more than one million words of verse-by-verse commentary and theological notes; nearly 2,000 years of historic Christian creeds, confessions, and catechisms; award-winning maps and visual aids; and other study tools to help Christians deepen their knowledge of God's Word.

There is a growing need in the French-speaking world for biblical discipleship resources. With secularism on the rise in Europe and Canada, this study Bible can equip Christians to stand firm in God's truth.
