Mr. Blackwell in his endorsement letter says,

"As a sitting Board Member of the NRA, I have absolute confidence that E.W. Jackson will uphold the Second Amendment without compromise."

He also testified to Jackson's character and readiness to serve in the U.S. Senate:

"Having served in several high offices, I trust E.W. Jackson with high office. I trust him to sit in the United States Senate with humility and fidelity to the Constitution and the people who send him there."

E.W. Jackson expressed his gratitude to Mr. Blackwell:

"Ken Blackwell is one of the most respected Republicans in America. I am humbled by his confidence in me as a person as well as my candidacy. He has been an extraordinarily successful candidate, and would not encourage or support me if he were not sure that I can defeat Tim Kaine. I do not intend to let him down. It is time for Virginia to lead again."

Mr. Blackwell is co-hosting an event for Jackson this week in Northern Virginia.
