ANNAPOLIS, Md., Sept. 18 /Standard Newswire/ -- RiskWatch, Inc. announced today that it has been working under contract with the Technical Support Working Group of the U.S. Department of Defense, and the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, to create a special version of the RiskWatch software to assess the Cybersecurity of systems. The unique software program will be released to specific industry organizations in October, 2006. The RiskWatch for Nuclear Power includes the new Nuclear Energy Institute guidelines contained in the NEI 04-04 Revision 1; "Cyber Security Program for Nuclear Power Reactors."

Jack Roe, Spokesman for the NEI, said, "This software will be a tool for the nuclear power industry to use to evaluate their security posture in specific systems and applications.
The NEI has a major role in developing the content and worked with many NEI member organizations in the development and the subsequent pilots."
