NEW YORK, Aug. 24, 2012 /Standard Newswire/ -- For nearly 40 years Trinity Broadcasting Network has partnered with pastors and ministry leaders around the nation to cover significant events that positively impact communities. On Saturday, August 25, TBN's 24-hour youth network, JCTV, will join noted pastor and TBN Praise the Lord host Donnie McClurkin for the ninth annual New York Call Youth Explosion, beginning at Noon at Eisenhower Park in East Meadow, New York.
"Young people today face more challenges than ever before in finding their place and purpose," said JCTV's program director Mark McCallie. Over ten thousand young people are expected for this year's New York Call Youth Explosion, which kicks off at Noon in Eisenhower Park with an Empowerment Fair, where teens and young adults will have access to career counseling and job readiness training, financial management workshops, education and wellness booths, along with plenty of games, snacks, and music.
At 3:00 the Youth Explosion's main event begins at Eisenhower Park's Lakeside Theater, with an exciting venue of music and speakers, including Tye Tribett, Nancey Jackson-Johnson, Andrea McClurkin-Mellini, Jeanie Ortega, Jeanette Vecchione-Donatti, Eddie Neblett, Tim Jean, and The Ambassador.
