ATLANTA, Dec. 30, 2020 /Standard Newswire/ -- Millions of African-Americans still support life from the "womb to the tomb," says Evangelist Alveda King, Executive Director of Civil Rights for The Unborn.
"Millions of African-Americans support strong and healthy families. Many African Americans support educational choice for our communities. It is time for our vote to match our beliefs. In November and December 2020, Georgia became an epicenter for the African-American vote. The eyes of the world are upon us.
"Recently hundreds of African-Americans united with prayer meetings, open letters, letters, and peaceful protests near and around Atlanta, Georgia during the ongoing U.S. Senate races. Issues such as abortion, the civil rights of children in the womb, the transgender sexualization and disfigurement of minors, and other concerns were on the hearts of voters.
"In answer to these and other concerns, the #NOTONMYWATCH prayer movement has emerged. The #IAMAMAN2020 movement is surging. The
#IT'SOURCHOICEFORGOODEDUCATION has rallied youthful voices to promote the cause.
"The Frederick Douglass Leadership Foundation has amassed a cadre of voter awareness strategies, including a prayer rally in Atlanta, and a circulating open letter with support from national pastors and leaders who are united to advance biblical principals in the voting booth.
"In yet another open letter, and prayer rally, the #everyblacklifemattersmovement is challenging pro-abortion candidates and elected officials to stop supporting abortion; and to serve the Black communities of America with life, not death.
"As we approach the culmination of the 2020 Senate race in Georgia next week, we are praying that millions of African-Americans will wake up. Today, with eyes on Georgia, with heads bowed down, and prayers lifted up, we urge America to stand up for truth, for justice, and the American way.
"We remain grateful to God for President Trump, America's most prolife President ever. We thank God for the two prolife, pro-family, pro education, pro Black business, pro religious freedom GA candidates, who are running for U.S. Senate.
"We still have a dream that families across America, one blood, one human race, will wake up, and choose life, remember God, and vote for life.
