FRANKLIN, Tenn., Jan. 17, 2023 /Standard Newswire/ -- GloriLight, a Franklin TN based company, is set to introduce to the market a new childrens nightlight that projects the Word of God in HD quality.
Matt Stamper, father of three and co-founder of GloriLight, was helping his kids to bed one night when his son began feeling anxious about getting to sleep. Though Stamper had failed in the past with other methods, this time he decided to guide his son to the truth of God's Word.
He started in Psalm 4:8, "In peace I will lie down and sleep, for You alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety." In the middle of their discussion, his son jumped out of bed and wrote the verse on a piece of paper before taping it to the side of his nightstand. "I want to see it if I wake up at night!" his son said.
Stamper realized that it would unfortunately be too dark to see with the lights out; however, later as he was staring up at a projection of a superhero nightlight, the thought came to him of how much more he wished to have the Word of God projected there instead. Then another thought came, how great would it be to have the truth of God's Word projected over all children at bedtime.
Stamper pitched the idea to friend and longtime entrepreneur, Clay Banks, who is also a father of two. "Immediately the Lord put the call on my heart to bring this product to market," Banks stated. "There is so much more we can do as parents than just saying the same prayer each night, and with GloriLight that's exactly what we hope to ignite."
GloriLight is set to have a seven year verse plan that will help parents guide their children to the truth of who God is as our Maker and Master in God the Father, who God is as our Lord and Savior in Jesus Christ, and who God is as our Helper and Guide in the Holy Spirit. There will also be verses about the Word of God and encouragement for those who accept the call of becoming a disciple of the Lord Jesus.
"We want to do more than just put verses on the ceiling," said Stamper. "Our goal is for the glory of God to shine through His Word knowing that is what will bring complete well-being to all His children."
Within the launch of GloriLight, Banks and Stamper have included mentoring six high school students as part of a local high school entrepreneurship program at the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center in Williamson County, Tennessee. The goal was using the setup of GloriLight as an opportunity to bring real world application and experience to learning business fundamentals and entrepreneurship.
GloriLight will be giving back part of each sale to help vulnerable children in need by partnering with Nashville-based ministry Justice & Mercy International (JMI). JMI's mission is to help bring sustainable life change for the poor, the orphaned, and the forgotten people of the world. "We desire to use GloriLight to make a difference in the lives of our customers as well as those who are most in need," said Banks. "And partnering with JMI gives us an opportunity to do just that."
GloriLight envisions inviting every parent to light their child's night with the heart-transforming word of God. "With all that kids face these days, God's word is still the truth that lights their way!" Stamper proclaimed.
GloriLight is now available to pre-order at GloriLight.com. Pre-orders are currently discounted at 25%, with product fulfillment happening in early February.
