SACRAMENTO, June 28 /Standard Newswire/ -- Two cases are expected to be decided by the US Supreme Court later this week, Meredith v. Jefferson County Board of Education and Parents Involved in Community Schools (PICS) v. Seattle School District. These cases challenged the practice of state-sponsored discrimination by using a child's race to determine acceptance into neighborhood public schools.
