WASHINGTON, Feb. 25, 2025 /Standard Newswire/ -- After a New York Times exposé detailing dangerous failures at Planned Parenthood, and now with the latest disturbing social media content, it is clear that Planned Parenthood is not a legitimate women’s healthcare provider and must be defunded immediately.
The New York Times article, reveals alarming details, stating: “Planned Parenthood has botched care, tired staff, failed abortions, misplaced IUDs, and inadequately trained personnel.”
Additionally, the images below taken directly from Planned Parenthood’s official Instagram page, (https://www.instagram.com/plannedparenthood/) include messages: “Going down on you faster than the Titanic,” “WYD tonight??? Hopefully putting my finger in your pie,” “You cumplete me,” “Rimming reminders,” and “Supporting abortion rights is sexy.”
It is unconscionable that $700 million in taxpayer funding annually is being funneled to an organization that not only jeopardizes women’s health but also promotes messaging that degrades and trivializes serious women’s healthcare.
Following the New York Times report and these disturbing social media posts, Stanton Public Policy Center is calling for the immediate defunding of Planned Parenthood. We will be personally delivering copies of the Times article and these social media images to members of Congress as they work to end taxpayer funding for Planned Parenthood.
Brandi Swindell, Founder and CEO of Stanton Healthcare, states:
“Planned Parenthood has once again demonstrated a profound misunderstanding of women’s health and what truly matters to us when it comes to our sexual wellness and medical care. Their crude and degrading social media posts prove how out of touch they are with women and what we actually care about.
"Planned Parenthood operates fake, agenda-driven clinics. They do not empower women—they are a propaganda machine that exploits the term ‘women’s healthcare’ as a cover to push abortion on-demand. It’s a sham. It always has been.
“Sexual wellness and women’s health should be celebrated and honored, not degraded and mocked by an organization that preys on women under the guise of care. These Instagram posts make it painfully clear that Planned Parenthood has nothing to do with actual women’s health. So why are American taxpayers being forced to fund an organization that has abandoned real healthcare in favor of radical political and pro-abortion activism?
“Planned Parenthood needs to get out of the lives of women. As they say… time’s up.”
Rev. Patrick Mahoney, Chief Strategy Officer for the Stanton Public Policy Center, adds:
“Does Congress really want to be giving $700 million dollars to an organization that is promoting normalizing ‘rimming’ and saying supporting abortion is sexy?
“How many more women have to be injured, receive botched medical care from inadequately trained staff, and even die before Planned Parenthood is defunded?
“Planned Parenthood’s main business is abortion, with the number of abortions increasing by over 20% in the past 10 years. Over that same time period, prenatal services, miscarriage care, adoption referrals, client visits, and other medical services have dropped dramatically. It also must be remembered: Planned Parenthood has no independent third-party medical accreditation.
“Stanton Public Policy looks forward to working with the Trump Administration, Congress, and DOGE to ensure they defund Planned Parenthood immediately.”
