LOS ANGELES, April 4, 2024 /Standard Newswire/ -- All are invited to the 118th anniversary celebration of the Azusa Street Revival. The Azusafest celebration begins on Friday, April 5th@ 9am prayer meeting & 11am tour and Saturday, April 6th @ 10am - outreach on Skidrow, church service at 1pm!
Apostle Fred & Wilma Berry pioneers and caretakers of the Azusa Street Mission location have been celebrating the "Azusafest" event for 18 years... Apostle Fred transitioned to heaven in 2021.
We created the William J.Seymour awards for leaders who carry that same spirit of humility and unity in the body of Christ! This year's national & international winners respectively of the WJSeymour award are Pastor Ezra SoonYoung Kang, President of JAMA and Sam & Sharon Mings, Lay Witnesses for Christ Int'l! In 1906 the declaration was that the "color line is washed away in the blood of Jesus." It is time for the church to pray to the Lord of the Harvest to send us with this simplistic message: Jesus Saves, Jesus heals, Jesus baptizes in the Holy Ghost and Jesus Christ is Coming again!
Our theme this year is "Harvest in 2024" from Matthew 9:37-38!
Join Apostle Wilma Berry at 200 S San Pedro Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012 and hear speakers: Rev. Ezra SoonYoung Kang, Fullerton, CA, Pastor Caleb Cooper from Truth or Consequences, New Mexico; Pastor Jacques McNeil, Los Angeles, CA & Evangelist Terryl Lipsey, Los Angeles, CA. Our MC is Apostle Jessica Maldonado of Los Angeles, CA. We will have special music from psalmist Tarah Hudson and dance ministry with Psalms Dance Network! Prayer leaders from all over the State of California will converge on Azusa Street to pray for a greater Azusa Street Revival!!!
