MEDIA ADVISORY, Jan. 22 /Standard Newswire/ -- Sida has approved The Swedish Pentecostal Mission Relief and Development Cooperation Agency (PMU) Inter Life to spend SEK 1 000 000 from their rapid responce fund for people affected by floods in the Kwale-region in Kenya, in cooperation with Free Pentecostal Fellowship in Kenya (FPFK).
In the first step FPFK will focus on providing emergency relief to 3 000 families for a three-month period. This will include mosquito nets, water purification tablets, household items, bedding and clothing. In the second step FPFK will phase out the strategies by providing farm inputs, tools and rehabilitation of existing water wells damaged by the flooding.
