Evangelist Will Graham to Headline BGEA Events at 2011 National Religious Broadcasters Convention
Schedule also includes "equipping" opportunities with BGEA leaders

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Feb. 7, 2011 /Standard Newswire/ -- At the 2011 National Religious Broadcasters (NRB) Convention, Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) will host a series of informative opportunities designed to further equip other ministries and attendees for the work of sharing the Gospel. Two events will feature Will Graham (photo), evangelist and grandson of Billy Graham. The convention will be held Feb. 26 – March 1 at the Gaylord Opryland in Nashville, Tenn.
 
"This year, we wanted to provide a relaxed setting for conversations about best practices in communicating the Gospel message," said Ken Barun, senior vice president of communications for BGEA. "In addition to sharing our own experiences, we look forward to learning from other industry leaders."
 
Following is the complete schedule:
 
Sunday, Feb. 27
·         2 p.m.: "Will Graham Meet & Greet." This is an opportunity to visit with Will Graham, evangelist and grandson of Billy Graham, in an informal setting.
·         4 – 5:30 p.m.: "Equipping Your Media Ministry." BGEA representatives from various communications departments will be on hand to discuss best practices in Christian media.
               
Monday, Feb. 28
·         10 a.m.: "The Third Generation: Will Graham Q&A on Faith, Family and Calling." This town-hall setting is an opportunity to hear Will Graham's insights on Christian ministry and ask questions.
·         1 – 3 p.m.: "Equipping Your Donor Relations Ministry." BGEA's Vice President of Donor Ministries Dave Yerry and Director of Radio Jim Kirkland will be available to discuss the challenges of ministry donor relations.
·         3 – 5 p.m.: "Equipping Your Youth and Crisis Response Ministries." Visitors can chat with Jack Munday, director of the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team, and Chad Miller, director of the youth evangelism program Dare to be a Daniel.
