WASHINGTON, Sept., 9, 2014 /Standard Newswire/ -- The recent beheadings, murders, rapes and other violence and assaults on the religious freedoms of people in Syria and Iraq and the U.S. effort to address them will be the topic of a congressional hearing planned for Wednesday, to be held jointly by the Subcommittee on Africa, Global Health, Global Human Rights, and International Organizations and the Subcommittee on the Middle East and North Africa.
"Genocidal Attacks Against Christian and Other Religious Minorities in Syria and Iraq," is the title of the hearing.
