HOUSTON, Oct. 19 /Standard Newswire/ -- Houston pro-life organizations are coming together on October 23, 2010 to educate, inspire and pray in an event called Unite for Life -- Houston. Inviting all pro-life supporters from around the Houston area and beyond, this FREE event will kick off at the Catholic Charismatic Center with a morning full of inspiring messages from leading pro-life advocates, including international pro-life advocate Eduardo Verástegui, and then culminate with a prayerful march to the new Planned Parenthood.
Motivated by the recent construction of a new Planned Parenthood in Houston, the largest abortion facility in the Western Hemisphere, that practices abortions up to the 25th week of pregnancy and concerned by the ever-growing number of abortions nationally and especially in Houston, Unite for Life -- Houston commits to not only inspire pro-life believers but to educate them on how to take action in their communities. Local Houston pro-life organizations, like Houston Coalition for Life, Texas Right to Life, Silent No More Awareness Campaign and Catholic Organization for Life, will be attending the event to provide information and welcome new members.
