ST. GEORGE, Utah, Aug. 14, 2024 /Standard Newswire/ -- THE PROMISED LAND, a new comedy series of Biblical proportions based on the book of Exodus and featuring cast and crew from The Chosen, begins filming season one in October 2024 after securing $5 million in funding for production.
The pilot episode debuted on YouTube on July 1 and has already received 572,000 views, and that number is growing significantly daily. The YouTube page went from a handful of subscribers to more than 61,000 subscribers almost instantly following the debut, with 5.7 million impressions. THE PROMISED LAND pilot episode has been viewed in 138 countries worldwide with the top 10 being: U.S., Canada, India, South Africa, Australia, United Kingdom, Philippines, Nigeria, Brazil, and Indonesia.

The comedy series has the full support of The Chosen creator and director Dallas Jenkins. "The world needs a show like this. Seriously," Jenkins said.
