LOS ANGELES, Feb. 2 /Standard Newswire/ -- Dr. Ted Baehr, founder of the Movieguide® family guide to movies and entertainment, announced that Wed., Feb. 4, 11 a.m. EST, in a special web press conference, he will reveal the nominees for the $100,000 Epiphany Prize for Most Inspiring Movie of 2008 and the $100,000 Epiphany Prize for Most Inspiring TV program of 2008. The awards are sponsored by the John Templeton Foundation.
At the press conference, Dr. Baehr will also present the Crystal Teddy Bear Award Nominees and a sneak peak of his 2009 Annual Report to the Entertainment Industry. The highlights will be revealed Feb. 11 at the Awards Gala in Beverly Hills, California. The Annual Report shows Hollywood what kinds of movies made the most money in 2008.
The winner of the Best Family Movie of 2008 will be announced Wednesday Feb. 11 at the Awards -to be held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills - but the directors, producers, writers, executive producers, and studio executives behind all ten nominees will receive a Crystal Teddy Bear statue for their efforts.
