WASHINGTON, N.J., April 15, 2024 /Standard Newswire/ -- The World Apostolate of Fatima, USA/Our Lady’s Blue Army is launching a tour of the historic National Pilgrim Virgin Statue of Fatima ahead of the Eucharistic Revival pilgrimage along the Seton route, from Connecticut to Indianapolis. The tour will launch from St. Theresa Catholic Church in Trumbull, CT, in the Diocese of Bridgeport on May 10-11, and stop at the National Blue Army Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima in Washington, NJ, for the feast of Our Lady of Fatima, May 13, before continuing along the route. Host parishes on the tour will offer prayers and vigils of Eucharistic reparation for the return of fallen-away and marginal Catholics. Petitions for these conversions are being gathered from across the nation to be carried in Our Lady’s Heart to the Eucharistic Revival Congress.
“The foundation of our Faith is our belief in the Real Presence of Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament. The foundation of the Fatima message is Eucharistic Reparation. This is where the Angel of Peace at Fatima directed us more than a century ago. Mary accompanying her Son on this journey to Indianapolis is a reaffirmation of this,” said David Carollo, executive director for the WAF/Blue Army.
Coinciding with the WAF/Blue Army Seton Route procession, the Marian Devotional Movement in Ottawa, Ont., Canada, will process the statue of Our Lady of the Cape along the northern St. Michael route to Indianapolis, commencing from the Shrine of Our Lady of the Cape in Trois Rivieres, Quebec, on July 4, 2024. The two apostolates are spearheading the processions as members of the Coalition of Eucharistic and Marian Apostolates (CEMA) in support of the USCCB Eucharistic Revival.
In a letter of support, Tim Glemkowski, executive director of the Eucharistic Revival Congress, said the pilgrim virgin statue processions will “visibly demonstrate Our Blessed Mother’s accompaniment of this Eucharistic Revival journey the Church is undertaking collectively. The Eucharistic Revival, in my view, is distinctly Marian in its heart, part of the work of the Sacred and Immaculate Hearts to heal, convert, form and unify the Church so that it can be sent on mission ‘for the life of the world.’ Our Blessed Mother never obscures her Son, but invites all to behold and know Him fully.”
In addition to Connecticut and New Jersey, the Fatima Statue tour will make stops in Philadelphia, PA, Baltimore/Washington, DC, Pittsburgh, PA, Steubenville, OH, Cleveland, OH, Fort Wayne, IN and Lafayette, IN, before reaching Indianapolis where it will be displayed during the Congress.
