MEDIA ADVISORY, June 11 /Standard Newswire/ -- GOD TV is to feature many USA and UK Christian recording artists, musicians and bands in its programming over the next few weeks, with three major concerts culminating in a fourth blow out concert on July 3 as GOD TV televises its first Angel Mission Benefit Concert. The line-up is as follows:

TheBigChurchDayOut

Thousands of people were turned away from TheBigChurchDayOut in West Sussex, England last month, as tickets for the event completely sold out, but now GOD TV viewers can watch it on television. Held for the first time last month, TheBigChurchDayOut is a major new Christian event which focuses on celebrating what God is doing in the wider Body of Christ through music, worship and prayer. The four-hour broadcast of the event will feature several leading UK and US Christian Contemporary Music (CCM) artists. These include the well-known UK rock/worship group Delirous? with one of the their final performances before they disband later this year; as well as one of the USA's most popular Christian artists, Michael W. Smith.

Israel Houghton, the worship leader at Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas, will also be joining the line-up along with the band, New Breed. UK worship leader Graham Kendrick, who has been at the forefront of Christian music in the UK for more than 30 years and who is known as 'the father of modern worship music' will also be featured. Also performing is leading UK youth band Yfriday who have appeared on many of the worlds' largest stages, with performances full of passion and energy. Based in Newcastle, England, they aim to make the Gospel accessible to people of all ages.

The Ultimate Event

Direct from the UK's mega theme park, Alton Towers, where thousands of young people gathered for some fast-paced action, the Ultimate Event features more cutting-edge international Christian bands. These include US Christian hard rock metal band, Kutless from Portland, Oregon; pop, rap, and R&B band, Superchick from Chicago, Illinois; and Irish group Bluetree, famous for their hit song 'God of This City'. Also appearing at the Ultimate Event are thebandwithnoname which is part of the Innervation Trust, an organisation committed to transforming young lives through music in schools and on the international stage.

Karen Wheaton is a seasoned Christian minister whose music and preaching has provoked many people to pursue God in passionate worship. Now as the founder of the international youth ministry, The Ramp, Karen hosts regular music concerts featuring Chosen, a group of 30 young ministers who lead audiences to the throne of God with their worship, prophetic dances and dramas. Other musicians such as Rick Pino, founder of Fire Rain Ministries and IHOP-KC worship leader, Eddie James who will be joining Karen LIVE on GOD TV from Hamilton, Alabama this month.

Israel Houghton and New Breed will be back with viewers for this event, along with popular Christian rock band Leeland, from Baytown, Texas; and Press Play from the Dream Center in Los Angeles, which is climbing the charts with their album, 'Life is Beautiful'. Also appearing are Dove Award winning rock band, The Afters, famous for the song 'Never Going Back to OK'; and anointed UK worship leader Vicky Beeching who has written the beautiful hymn, 'The Wonder of the Cross'. Live Out Loud, aka The Zimbabwe Boys will be bring some of the sounds of Africa to the Benefit Concert.
