Film Crew Picks Northeast Florida Over Italy

ST AUGUSTINE, Fla., Oct. 15 /Standard Newswire/ -- A movie will complete filming in St. Augustine, Palm Coast and Jacksonville this week. Portions of the movie slated to be filmed in Pisa, Italy were recast for Palm Coast's European Village Resort.

St. Augustine, Florida, the primary setting for the novel Grace will also be the on-location set for a movie in production under the working title Grazia.
In the 1999, the book's author Wendell Vanderbilt Fountain chose the quaint, picturesque, St. Augustine as the setting for his book. The plot is a heartfelt love story laced with suspense based on a true story. Now Fountain is crisscrossing the county with a film crew putting.
Producer Shan Wafford intentionally sought out locals to act in the project. "By using as many as possible from north Florida and St. Augustine as actors and extras we will bring higher level of realism to the story, said Wafford.
Fountain added, "Many famous and popular portions of St. Augustine will be featured in the film, just as they were in the book. While the locals who perform in the movie have an excellent opportunity to showcase their acting abilities and become stars in their own right, I believe that the city of St. Augustine itself is a 'star' of this movie."

Though it is not a movie consisting of numerous high-tech special effects, it is a movie about passion and the power of true love. Dr. Wendell Vanderbilt Fountain of Fountain & Associates and Shannon (Shan) Wafford of Snow Productions located in San Diego, California have formed Fountain-Wafford Productions, a collaborative effort to bring to life an independent, high quality, low-budget, feature film called "Grazia" which is based on the novel Grace by Fountain which was published by AuthorHouse in 2002. The film will be produced by Fountain, and Wafford will be serving as the film's director. Wafford and Fountain collaborated on the screenplay.
