KABUL, Afghanistan, May 21 /Standard Newswire/ -- The Portuguese Quick Reaction Force recently deployed to Regional Command South to help the Afghanistan government provide security.

Since a Transfer of Authority in February the quick reaction force had been operating out of Kabul and Kabul province.

 

The Portuguese Quick Reaction Force is working with the Afghan National Police and the Afghan National Army to build a peaceful future for Afghan families and their home country, said an ISAF official.
