CHESAPEAKE, Va., July 22 /Standard Newswire/ -- Bishop E.W. Jackson Sr., is accusing Barbara Boxer and liberals of paternalism and racism cloaked in a façade of compassion. The Bishop and STAND members took great offense when Barbara Boxer attacked Harry Alford of the National Black Chamber of Commerce for disagreeing with Cap & Trade. Boxer cited the NAACP and another black group to offset Alford's testimony.

Bishop Jackson says, "This is racism in its most insidious form because it promotes the stereotype that all blacks are supposed to think alike. Senator Boxer did not address the science or the data surrounding Cap & Trade, but pointed out that the NAACP and other black groups support it." Alford shot back at Boxer, "I take offense at that. You are being racial."
STAND's President alleges that liberals and democrats have intimidated and pressured blacks to keep silent any disagreement they may have with liberal ideology. "That is why Boxer was so shocked," says Jackson. "She is accustomed to quiet acquiescence, but Alford cleaned her clock."
STAND is organizing Americans who believe in the traditional and Judeo-Christian values upon which the country was founded and built. They claim that most blacks, particularly Christians, do not believe in abortion or that homosexuality is a civil rights. "But many keep quiet," the Bishop argues, "because it will upset their liberal democrat benefactors. Harry Alford struck a blow for intellectual freedom."
The Bishop has written an Opinion Editorial titled, "Liberals Are The True Racists," which is appearing in newspapers around the country and online. In that editorial Jackson argues, "Liberals like the 'good' blacks who stay in their place. Those who dare escape the left-wing plantation find themselves the target of a 'high tech lynching' reserved for minorities who get 'uppity.' Ask Justice Clarence Thomas."
