SAN FRANCISCO, June 5, 2012 /Standard Newswire/ -- On Friday, June 8th at Noon, concerned citizens will hold a Rally for Religious Freedom at the U.S. Federal Building in San Francisco to voice public opposition to the Obama administration's Health and Human Services Mandate. The HHS Mandate forces all employers -- even religious institutions such as Roman Catholic hospitals and universities -- to offer contraceptives, sterilizations and abortion-inducing drugs through their health plans, contrary to their religious beliefs and doctrines. San Francisco is joining over 100 other cities across the nation Standing Up for Religious Freedom.

"Not since the 1960's has a cause so righteous and so just demanded the Body of Christ, in the power of our Lord's Priesthood, to rise together in the Public Square to let our voices be heard. The lines have been drawn. The battle is already raging. Choose you this day, whom you will serve," said Walter Hoye.
Hoye continued, "We agree with the Catholic Bishops. This is not about access to contraception, universal health care, religious freedom of Catholics only or a matter of partisan politics. This is about the federal government forcing the Church to act against Her teachings."
