SAN DIMAS, Calif., March 10, 2020 /Standard Newswire/ -- Christian Community Credit Union's Board and Supervisory Committee are pleased to announce Blair Korschun as its new Chief Executive Officer effective March 23, 2020.

Korschun's career spans more than 27 years. Since 2011, he has served as President and CEO of CU Direct Connect. He spent ten years in the beverage industry, primarily with Pepsi-Cola in both finance and operation roles. He also served as Senior Vice President of Encore Capital Group. As the General Manager of Ascension Capital subsidiary, he was responsible for the management and P&L of Ascension, which provided bankruptcy servicing for large consumer lenders. Korschun was also the VP/Consumer Business Executive with JPMorgan Chase Auto Finance, where he managed direct auto finance. At Capital One Financial, he was the Group Manager and oversaw operations strategy for the young adult credit card business line.
Korschun graduated Magna Cum Laude from Duke University with a triple major in Computer Science, Mathematics, and Economics. He also has an MBA from the University of Chicago in Finance and Production. Korschun is a Certified Risk and Compliance Management Professional (CRCMP). He received the Circle of Excellence award at Capital One Financial and was noted for launching the Legal Collections channel. He was also honored with the Vendor of the Year award from BBVA Compass Bank.
Korschun is a native of North Carolina. He and his wife Tracy have two adult children. Their daughter is a teacher and their son a Fulbright Scholar working in Mongolia. Korschun and his wife are dedicated members of Plum Creek Community Church in Colorado, where Blair has served as a small group leader and an usher.
