The ad has multiple graphic images of babies murdered by abortion, and makes the argument that to vote for Obama knowing that Obama supports the murder of babies is a betrayal of the Catholic Faith.
The ad will run on every TV station in Iowa and the five state regions that surrounds Iowa (Iowa, Nebraska, Illinois, Missouri, and Minnesota). The ad will run on at least one news broadcast per station.
Randall Terry States:
"In 2008, 55% of Catholics voted for Obama, despite the fact that he openly supported the murder of babies. We will run these ads throughout the country, hoping to create a crisis of conscience with those voters.
"If 7% - 8% of those Catholics will 'mend their ways' and refuse to vote for Obama in the general election of 2012, I could cause his defeat in the swing states, and help deny him the White House."
FCC-licensed TV stations are required by law to run the ads of federal candidates within the 45-day window of any primary election or caucus in a given state.
After Iowa, the Terry campaign will focus on New Hampshire and Boston.
Super Bowl Ads will run in local markets.
Terry's media campaign will be buying ad time during the Super Bowl in various states to run similar ads. As long as the Super Bowl airs within the 45-day window of a given primary, the stations will be required to run the ad.
