LOUISVILLE, Ky., June 3, 2025 /Standard Newswire/ — The Colson Center (TCC), Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF), and stakeholders launched a free video platform called the Identity Project. The platform helps Christians discover, live, and lead others to ground their identity in God. It is a one-stop shop for vetted content, offering over 200 free, Biblically grounded videos from trusted Christian voices on topics like identity, parenting, and sexuality.

“As Christians, we are called to preserve what is good and restore what is broken in our world,” said John Stonestreet, President of The Colson Center. “Now more than ever, our culture needs Christians to restore a broken understanding of identity by living from their God-given identity, and the Identity Project helps them do just that.”

TCC collaborated with 30 trusted Christian subject matter experts to create the Identity Project. These experts are medical doctors, psychologists, attorneys, child development specialists, and pastors from reputable organizations like Alliance Defending Freedom, Awakening & Reformation Center, Celebrate Kids, and many more.

Through 200+ vetted videos and over 10 curated series, the Identity Project helps Christians to discover that identity starts with God, live from God-given identity, and lead others to do the same. It connects Christians with a trusted network and provides free webinars to prepare them for conversations about identity with their community and the next generation.

As American society detaches morality from the Christian faith, cultural definitions of identity have become increasingly self-determined. This detachment has contributed to confusion regarding foundational truths about identity.

Pastors, teachers, and parents stand at the crossroads of this mass confusion. According to a 2023 Pew Research study, 31 percent of Americans think parents should not be able to opt their children out of learning about sexual orientation and gender identity in school.

The same study found that 24 percent of elementary, 35 percent of middle, and 45 percent of high school teachers think students should learn that someone can be a boy or girl, even if that is different from their biological sex.

“Our culture is flooded with voices, and Christians are struggling to know how to raise their kids with a healthy identity, how to minister to those experiencing same-sex attraction, and how to love their neighbors who have a broken view of identity,” said Pete Marra, Chief Operating Officer of The Colson Center. “The Identity Project allows Christians to hear from experts who prioritize Biblical truth over cultural ideologies.”

In a culture deeply divided on these topics, the Identity Project cuts through the noise with curated content from 30 trusted Christian voices.
