GOD TV will once again broadcast the annual Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem, held on the first Sunday of October. Founded by Jack Hayford and Robert Stearns in 2002 this event is endorsed by over 1,200 Christian leaders and 200,000 churches and is an urgent call to intercede for God's purposes to come to pass in His Holy City. It airs LIVE on the GOD Channel on October 2 at 9.45 am (EST).

Rory & Wendy Alec will introduce the broadcast from GOD TV's Broadcast HQ in Jerusalem, crossing to Robert Stearns at the Haas Promenade overlooking the city. The program will include prayers from Arab, Jewish and Christian believers, interspersed with worship and dance. Participating ministries include Bridges for Peace, the International Christian Embassy, Jerusalem; Christ Church, Jerusalem and Succat Hillel. The deputy mayor of Jerusalem, Naomi Tsur and Gila Gamliel of the Knesset Christian Allies Caucus will represent the Israeli Government.
