Singling Out Religious Music for Censorship Draws Response

MONTGOMERY, Ala., July 22, 2016 /Standard Newswire/ -- The Foundation for Moral Law, an Alabama legal foundation dedicated to strict adherence to the Constitution as intended by its Framers, urged school boards and other governmental bodies to make sure they have the full picture before caving in to the demands that religious aspects of the culture be removed from the public arena.
Foundation President Kayla Moore (photo) referred specifically to the decision of the Elmore County Board of Education to strike the playing of "Amazing Grace" as part of the halftime show during the coming football season. "Singling out religious music for censorship is not religious neutrality, it is religious hostility. Neither our Constitution nor our cultural history requires this."
