INDIANAPOLIS, Ind., May 2, 2012 /Standard Newswire/ -- Mike Pence for Indiana announced today that Christy Denault has joined the campaign as Communications Director.
Denault has an extensive communications background. She served as Communications Director for Lt. Gov. Becky Skillman, where she developed the office's communications and outreach strategy, including media relations, messaging, public appearances, outreach projects, and online presence. Most recently Denault worked as a strategic communications consultant for Bose Public Affairs Group.
"Christy brings a strong Hoosier sensibility and more than 15 years of experience in communications and strategy," said Kyle Robertson, Campaign Manager. "We are very excited to have her join our team."
In addition to her time in government, Denault worked at Purdue University for the Dean of the College of Agriculture and has spent time in private industry.
Denault holds a degree in journalism from the University of Iowa and a master's degree in international conflict analysis from the University of Kent in Canterbury, England.
