LOS ANGELES, Jan. 14, 2021 /Standard Newswire/ -- Beginning today, and for the next 18 weeks, TBN will air a new block of The State of Faith programs every Thursday night. Combining original shows and themed episodes of the network's flagship program "Praise," the content makes Christianity and the regions in which it has grown and flourished come alive like never before.

"The story of the Gospel being spread around the globe is a remarkable story that TBN is honored to tell with this powerful and entertaining docuseries, and other special network events," said Matt Crouch, Chairman of TBN.

Programming will begin on Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET with the docuseries "Inexplicable: How Christianity Spread to the Ends of the Earth." Golden Globe-nominated actor Dennis Haysbert ("24," "The Unit") hosts the show which features groundbreaking footage and interviews with influential voices and heroes within the faith, charting the historical path the Gospel journeyed, exploring where, why and exactly how it spread from 12 followers of Jesus to more than two billion believers worldwide.

Next, "Drive Through History: Ends of the Earth" will air at 9 p.m. ET. An 18-part history series chronicling the dramatic spread of Christianity from its origins in Israel to 18 different regions of the world, host Dave Stotts travels the globe to tell the 2,000-year story of how the Gospel of Jesus Christ reached the ends of the earth.

Concluding the block of programming is a special themed episode of "Praise" airing at 9:30 p.m. ET with repeat airings of "Inexplicable" and "Drive Through History: Ends of the Earth" beginning at 10:30 p.m. ET.

TBN has partnered with more than 100 major ministries in this unparalleled year-long television event and marks the most extensive contemporary survey of the spread and status of Christianity around the world.
