MILWAUKEE, Oct. 5, 2020 /Standard Newswire/ -- St. Francis loved music, and the camaraderie of a shared performance and singing. In that spirit we offer a free download of "All My Brothers and Sisters" featuring musical artists of diverse genres and backgrounds from Milwaukee as well as our own sisters and a 'brother' "All coming around…" in the latest Franciscana Costa Collaboration.
Alternating verses are Milwaukee's Joe Jordan and the WhiskeyBelles Chrissy Clobes. Renown as an R+B soul singer on the Milwaukee scene, his first two solo projects; "Can You Find Your Soul" and "Let's Go To That Place" earned Joe Jordan three Wisconsin Area Music Award (WAMI) nominations. He strives to share his passion for music, providing opportunities for young inner-city boys and girls in 3rd and 4th grades to perform and grow creatively through music, as well as be a positive role model.
Chrissy is a consummate musician twice nominated for WAMI Female Vocalist of the Year. Her solo albums are 'In the Making' and nationally distributed 'Far From Dreaming'
Austin Texas is represented by Paul Finley (slide guitar mandolin and background vocals and Sharon Grant (background vocals). Paul performs as a soloist, a theater musician, with an Austin Celtic and Cajun band, and has performed with the Austin Symphony Orchestra and Phil Keaggy. He currently teaches at One Day Academy and offers private lessons.
Milwaukee Drummer John Carr provide the beat. Singer-songwriter John Sieger provided bass, electric guitar and background vocals. After decades of making tasty, mostly electric music with the R&B Cadets and Semi-Twang. John coproduced with Mark Kolter (acoustic guitar, background vocal and songwriter).
You'll also hear 3 Franciscan Sisters on background vocals -- Sr. Myra Jean Sweigart, Sr. Ann Carla Baumann and Sr. Concepcion Medina (from Midland TX) along with Fr John Dombrowski.
Mixed for streaming by John Sieger and Kyle Krukowski of Mad Scientist labs. Recorded at www.hfconservatory.org/
Sieger reflected that "All My Brothers and Sisters," was an epic adventure. Over thirty tracks, with people from all over adding their parts in my studio or sending them over the internet. It's an honor to be associated with all the talented artists who added parts. Thank you Sisters!"
"All My Brothers and Sisters is the latest Franciscana Costa Collaboration that has featured musicians from Wisconsin, Texas and Brazil. Listen for more.
