CAPE TOWN, August 8, 2011 /Standard Newswire/ -- All of us are engaged in a battle. Ideas come at us from every direction, and few know how to make sense of the world. Few know what they believe; and fewer still, why they believe it, or how to defend it.
Africa Christian Action's Biblical Worldview Seminars are intensive weekend retreats designed to teach participants how to analyse the various ideas that are competing for their hearts and minds. As you can see from the comments, we're succeeding.
This Biblical Worldview Seminar (26-28 August) is particularly aimed at youth, but adults and families are also welcome.
Accommodation and meals will be provided by JC Seals Adventure Centre, Vereeniging. The cost will be R345 per person (includes seminar, manual, accommodation, 6 meals and Adventure Activities). Day visitors are welcome at a cost of R270 (includes 2 meals, Adventure Activities and a Biblical Worldview Manual).

President of Summit Ministries USA, Jeff Myers says: "So many issues are plaguing our schools, and it is a tough world for our kids to enter into. From budget battles to cultural swings to moral dilemmas, they face it all. But we are not powerless in educating our young people how to combat these forces."
"We tell our children that school is a safe place for them, but this is a time when negative influences are literally battling for our kids' souls," Myers added. "There is no more important time for young people to be equipped to know what they believe and be ready to defend their Faith - even in school."
Studies have shown that three-quarters of young Christians will disengage from their faith by the time they reach their twenties. The Biblical Worldview Seminar will not only work to help young people stay engaged but also to share their faith in a passionate, intelligent way.
