BOLIVAR, Mo., Sept. 7, 2021 /Standard Newswire/ -- Gayla Prewitt develops the feature-length sanctity of life thriller/mystery film "Glimmer." "Like 'Uncle Tom's Cabin,' Gayla Prewitt uses a narrative to offer an extremely compelling argument,...not only for the abolition of abortion and the submission to God's law but for the value of life and the impact of one life," said Pastor David Van Bebber, First Baptist, Buffalo, MO. Van Bebber made his remarks after reading the short novel "Glimmer" based on the screenplay.
Prewitt said the inspiration for writing "Glimmer" came from reading studies showing that many women choose life for their pre-born babies after an ultrasound. "Imagine if they could see the first few years of life with their children, a future they would have if they were allowed to live," said Prewitt. Prewitt and her team have produced a proof-of-concept trailer to grow support for the project.

Prewitt hopes to raise funds to produce the film from tax-deductible donations through a fiscal sponsor relationship and, alternatively, through crowdfunding on a GoFundMe campaign.
The "Glimmer" screenplay has received recognition at faith-based film festivals. "The Pathway" recently featured Prewitt's efforts in an article.
