PHOENIX, Feb. 11, 2022 /Standard Newswire/ -- BMG-Global, the worldwide leader in faith film distribution, has several films nominated for the 2022 ICVM Crown Awards. The ICVM Crown Awards honor the best in independent Christian cinema. Awards will be presented at the NRB Convention in Nashville. The nominations include MARY 4 MAYOR for Best Comedy & Best Narrative over $250,000, BREAK EVERY CHAIN, and DAMAGED GOODS for Best Narrative under $250,000, TETELESTAI for Best Series, and THE BIBLE - PART ONE for Best Children's Program.
The nomination for Best Comedy and Best Narrative over $250,000, MARY 4 MAYOR, stars Corbin Bernsen, (La Law, When We Last Spoke), Amanda Pays, (The Flash, Psych), and Cameron Protzman, (Mad Men, 20th Century Women). The film is about an eighteen-year-old young lady who runs for mayor against her incumbent father and learns valuable life lessons that become not only the building blocks to saving her family but also the town she lives in.
The nominations for Best Narrative under $250,000, were, BREAK EVERY CHAIN and DAMAGED GOODS. BREAK EVERY CHAIN stars Dean Cain, (God's Not Dead, Lois & Clark) and Ignacyo Matynia, (Law & Order: SVU, My Nightmare Landlord) and is based on the true story of a police officer's battle with alcoholism, depression, and devastating loss; and of how God changed his life forever. DAMAGED GOODS, tells the story of a young woman who discovers that her estranged, abusive father needs a transplant to save his life, and she is the only match, which forces her to confront her painful past and make the decision that will decide her future. The film stars Hannah Alline, (Ozarks, The Hunt) and Danny Vinson, (Leatherheads, Walk the Line).
The nomination for Best Series, TETELESTAI, is cinematic series that investigates key biblical narratives from Creation to Christ. Dynamic teaching leads to key truths about a God who loves humanity and is willing to pay the price for their rescue.
The nomination for Best Children's Program, THE BIBLE – PART ONE is a groundbreaking trilogy that tells the entire story of the Bible, Genesis to Revelation, through the eyes of LEGO® characters.
The films will vie for bronze, silver, and gold at the awards ceremony in Nashville on the evening of March 10th, 2022.
