MEDIA ADVISORY, Feb. 24, 2011 /Standard Newswire/ -- Gold Star parents Debbie Lee and David Jeffers, who each lost sons in Iraq, are urging Wisconsin Tea Party members to immediately begin the recall process as outlined in Article XIII, Section 12 of the Wisconsin Constitution.

Both parents know the meaning of sacrifice and devotion to duty; their sons epitomized these qualities and gave the last full measure in defense of the US Constitution and our liberty.

In his latest post (tinyurl.com/5wgkjlj) "Recall the Rascals" at Salt and Light Blog, Jeffers (a retired Army Master Sergeant) writes, "Eight of the fourteen AWOL Democrat State Senators in Wisconsin are subject to recall immediately. The other six will be on January 4, 2012."

Ms. Lee's son Marc Alan Lee was the first Navy Seal killed in Iraq. Quoting from her son's last letter (tinyurl.com/mbc9oh) home, Ms. Lee shares that her son being in Iraq made him "realize the great country we have and the obligation we have to keep it that way." Ms. Lee says that these runaway senators are not living up to that obligation.

Mr. Jeffers' son, Army Sergeant Eddie Jeffers, wrote the famous "Hope Rides Alone" (tinyurl.com/yoqcxv) and in it he stated: "Let's stop all the political nonsense, let's stop all the bickering, let's stop all the bad news and let's stand and fight! Isn't that what America is about anyway?" Mr. Jeffers says that these shirking senators are the epitome of political nonsense.

Because of these senators' dereliction of duty, these two Gold Star parents urge Wisconsin voters to immediately begin the recall process.
