"Let a Dad be a Dad. Move on, and don't politicize President Biden's decision. Every dad alive would do the same thing for his son." -- Randall Terry, Presidential Candidate, Constitution Party.

WASHINGTON, Dec. 1, 2024 /Standard Newswire/ -- Randall Terry, Former Presidential Candidate states the following regarding President Biden pardoning his son Hunter:
"As a father of seven children, I would do everything I could to help my children, including those with problems with addiction. I lost my only brother to a fentanyl overdose. My mom and I tried for years to help him out of every crisis he was in...until he died.
"There is no father that I know, who would not use his authority to pardon his son in this situation.
"That said, everyone should resist the temptation to dramatize this pardon with references to God the Father, and His Only Begotten Son (which some will do.)
"Most of us can agree that President Biden's words were 'political,' in which he said: 'No reasonable person who looks at the facts of Hunter's cases can reach any other conclusion than Hunter was singled out only because he is my son -- and that is wrong...There has been an effort to break Hunter -- who has been five and a half years sober, even in the face of unrelenting attacks and selective prosecution. In trying to break Hunter, they've tried to break me -- and there's no reason to believe it will stop here. Enough is enough.
"This entire assertion may or may not be true. That is not the point. The point is that a father pardoned his son.
"Frankly, if Biden had NOT pardoned him, most dads of every political color would have held Biden in contempt.
"I trust that President Trump and his team will have the prudence to NOT politicize this. If the day comes that President Trump wants to pardon anyone for anything, his silence now will be a benefit then."
