Coalition Asks Congress to Respect General Petraeus

WASHINGTON, Sept. 13 /Standard Newswire/ -- Concerned Women for America (CWA) sent a letter to every Senator and Representative urging them to vote in favor of resolutions that condemn attacks on the honor and character of General Petraeus.  The letter was signed by over 40 leaders of veterans groups, pro-family groups, opinion leaders and public policy organizations.

 

Senator John Cornyn (R-Texas) and House Minority Leader Rep. John Boehner (R-Ohio) introduced resolutions that condemn personal attacks by MoveOn.org on the character of Gen. Petraeus.  The extremist group published an ad in the New York Times calling the leader of the Multi-National Force in Iraq, "General Betray Us."
